4. Gift Aid Declaration

If you pay Income Tax and/or Capital gains Tax you can increase the value of your donations to the fund by signing a Gift Aid declaration. This will be reclaimed from the Inland Revenue by the Lancastrian Transport Trust as a Registered Charity.

Notes

• If your declaration covers donations you make in the future please notify the Lancastrian Transport Trust (LTT) if you change your name and address

• You may cancel the declaration at any time by notifying the LTT

• You must pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that the LTT reclaims on your donations in the tax year.

• If in the future your circumstances change and you no longer pay tax on your income and/or capital gains tax equal to the tax that the charity reclaims you must cancel your declaration

• If you pay tax at the higher rate you can claim further tax relief in your self assessment tax return.
